Sleep, Glorious Sleep!

Jack and Ben fell asleep in their swings after a full day at Nana's house

Praise God! My boys are now sleeping through the night! I had always thought "sleeping through the night" meant the whole night... 9pm to 7pm... but alas, everyone seems to define it as six hours, three times a week. Well, we're there!
Since implementing a schedule suggested by Gary Ezzo's "Baby Wise" for the boys, they have really seemed to enjoy the routine. Generally, they take 4 hour-and-a-half naps, staying up for about an hour-and-a-half in between. Don't get me wrong. We adjust things often and still have had to be flexible to their needs (as well as what we might have going on during any particular day,) but we are so pleased to have reached such a great milestone at only three months of age.

We usually put them down for the night around 9pm after a nice bath, then sleep until around 3-4am, have a feeding, then wake up again around 7:30am. Wonderful. Those hours make for a MUCH happier mommy and daddy! :) Way to go, boys!
