My sister had her baby yesterday afternoon: Evan Joseph
She woke up with hard contractions around 5am and David helped her time them. Four minutes apart. They called the doctor, then called my mom. She left right away. Aunt Lisa was already at the house to watch Matthew; Ellie wanted Mom with her in the room.
Since it was the weekend, she didn't have any of her regular doctors, but the staff was all very friendly and helpful. She had to get TWO epidurals since the first one didn't take (ouch!) but after they broke her water, mini Mandich would soon make his entrance! She pushed once... his head came out. She pushed again... his whole body emerged! What a trooper!
